A unique aspect of Reiki is its Attunement process, which helps align the practitioner’s energy with the universal life force. In Level 1 Reiki, four Attunements are given to the aspirant. Each individual experiences this process differently, as the Attunement works on subtle energy levels, enhancing their ability to channel Reiki.

Each aspirant experiences Attunement in a unique way—some feel warmth or tingling, others see colors, experience deep relaxation, or even emotional release. This process strengthens intuition, purifies energy pathways, and lays the foundation for self-healing and healing others. After an Attunement, it’s essential to practice Reiki regularly, observe inner shifts, and embrace the journey of energetic transformation. Attunement is just the beginning—Reiki unfolds its magic as you continue to connect with it.
A Reiki Channel’s Experience After the 4th Attunement

During the Attunement, I felt a powerful energy flowing throughout my body. I was overwhelmed with gratitude, feeling the divine presence with me at all times. A single tear formed in my right eye—something I hadn’t experienced in nearly 40 years—followed by a deep sense of emotional release as my eyes filled with moisture. I felt truly blessed to be part of this Reiki session. For the first time in my life, I experienced back pain, which I intuitively understood as a release of blocked energies through my Mooladhara (Root Chakra). I have observed transformation in myself after practicing REIKI under the guidance of our GURU DR. RAJESWARI SUBRAHMANYAM GARU for the past 4 years, by following the REIKI principles i.e., Just for today i) I will not get anger, ii) I will not worry, iii) I will be grateful for all my blessings; iv) I will work with honesty and integrity and v) I will be kind to all living beings, WHICH keeps me motivated to practice in my daily life. Practicing daily Reiki, Saura Mantra Reiki, Kriya Reiki Meditation keeps me healthy physically and mentally fit (I am 64 years old).
